There are 11 days left until school starts for me.  :XD: I'm going into panic mode a little bit.  I still have to reset my sleep schedule into something vaguely acceptable, decide what I'm going to wear on the first day (it sounds so stupid, but I always make a big deal of it), get new glasses (or at least mom said I would, because my eyes are so bad that even my super high prescription isn't quite enough), and you know, figure out what the hell is wrong with me so I can get back into my normal "kick the ass of everything and more" attitude. :shakefist:  I blame my problems on stupid boys and their stupid mixed signals.

I accomplished pretty much nothing that I wanted to this summer, but that's okay.  I would still like to make a new purse before school begins... my last one was actually really bad.    I didn't translate, or write, or learn as much as I intended to.  But, you know.  It was a good summer, overall. :D  But now, as it always does, summer is wearing thin.  I'm going into my senior year now, which is crazy.

I think it'll be a good year, though.  I'll be taking good (and mostly easy) classes, which is a relief.  ALSO I'M NOT TAKING MATH.  I WILL REPEAT THAT, BECAUSE I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT MYSELF.  I WILL NOT BE TAKING A MATH COURSE. :excited:  I'm more excited about that than anything else.  I hate math, and I especially hate useless math.  So this means I can actually focus on good shit.  I mean, I'm stuck in English 12 with the same teacher I had this year (and she's nuts and not a very good teacher - she said that 1984 was "a boring, unimportant book written by an amateur", at which point I lost most of my respect for her), but it'll be an easy class.  I mean, this year, I managed to get in the high 90s, barely skimming The Scarlet Letter, and only reading the first 3 chapters of The Grapes of Wrath. :giggle:  Besides that, I'll be taking nice, easy, non-AP social studies (Government and Economics, so I can't really call it history) for the first time since freshman year.  I'll be continuing with my foreign languages, which is always great (especially since I'll get college credit for Spanish 5!).  And I'm taking the easiest science ever, Botany. :D And then there's the required classes, phys. ed., pc skills (easy as shit because I already know how to use Powerpoint and Excel), and health.  No big deal.

How about you guys?  Excited for school?  Dreading school?  Already back in school?
